Default Swap....

Thinking of swapping my fuel inj. system out for a carburetor. It's a 1995 302,5 spd.
What years intake manifolds will fit? It's going to be a 2bbl.

Theoretically any 302 manifold that doesn't have holes for injectors.

But why? You are going backwards in technology....

To cure a high idle, I've done all the sensors except MAP, new throttle cable. Idles fine when it's started, slowly creeps up then stays at 1,500.

The cure is worse than the disease. Do you think carbs can't idle high? Stop replacing parts - especially with the WRONG parts (a carb). If you can't diagnose it, pay someone who can. It'll cost less, take less time, and the truck will run better for longer for less money per mile.
