Default Squeeka squeeka squeeka -alternator or tensioner?

This squeek is driving me nuts. It goes up with RPMs. I can’t figure out if it’s the alternator or the tensioner pulley.

have you tried a new belt or belt dressing(my first choice) then start looking at your other items - if both don't work

May try using a sounding bar and CAREFULLY checking the driven components while running to see whether can localize where the noise is coming from.

I use an 18-inch 3/8-inch socket extension, placing one end on the component being checked, and the other end in my ear. A long piece of metal would work, and they do make mechanic's stethoscopes, but that's just getting too high-tech for me :-)~

Spritzing some belt dressing on while running, like previously recommended, to see whether the sound or pitch changes would be good to quickly determine whether or not a belt issue.
