Default Mass air 5.0 to 5.8 swap

hello I am new to this site and I am looking for recommendations on my 1994 project truck. It is currently a mass air 5.0 e40d but I am building a 5.8 with edelbrock intake, Holley aluminum heads a v-10 throttle body and shorty headers with a mild had roller cam. What is the best size injectors to use with this combo and what mass air meter. I think the factor meter is 75mm from what I have read but haven't measured yet. Also did they make a 5.8 that was factory mass air?

You're mixing parts from various vehicles & engines to make something unique - no one can tell you what will be "best" for it because no one has ever built something that way before. The answers to your questions depend on MANY other factors, including how you expect the truck to run, how often you plan to run it, on what terrain, if you plan to drive on public roads, in which countries/states, and how the EEC will be programmed.

Yes, there were MAF 5.8Ls for at least 2 years; maybe more in trucks >8500GVWR. Click this on a computer with a fullsize monitor:

If you want something that will be legal in most places, and run reliably & economically, get one of those engines or trucks, and maintain it.

Both 5.0 and 5.8 used 19lb injectors so I think the 5.0 maf meter will work fine. As a safety feature add a gauge that shows the fuel air mixture.
