Ok guys an gals I need some help I'm wanting to upgrade my map to maf senser how hard is it to install can what parts do you need Iv got a 1995 f150 5.8 with c6 oD can you guys point me in the right direction please thank you

 

By C6 OD do you mean E4OD?

It's more trouble than it is worth unless you plan on doing some major engine upgrades - new computer specific to engine and tranny, injector wiring harness, air tube with sensor and filter, etc.

If it was a simple upgrade Ford probably would have done it in 95. Maybe leave well enough alone unless you're passionate about having MAF but I don't think you should get into it without a whole lot of research first.

 

I believe all you have to do is track down a 96 ford with the 5.8 and e40d which would be a c6 with OD and swap the harness and everything I have a all the stuff to do it with and plan on doing it to my 94 f150 and hope it will help with some of the exhaust work and future work I would like to do to the truck.... Lots of work yes.... Not worth it I think it would be worth it

 

I've read of many people switching over a MAP vehicle to MAF, mostly Mustangs, with a kit. I have never seen a write up where someone switched over to MAF using a donor vehicle, and on top of that gone from obd1 to obd2.
