Still just soaking the broken bolt with PB and praying! I am going to throw heat to the block, where the bolt actually threads in, the day I attempt to remove it. I really don't want to break this bolt in the block! If that happens, must remove timing chain cover and on Fords that cover goes around the Crank Shaft...errgggg!

Have you ever pulled apart one of these engines with a lot of miles on it?
I have.. It's common for the intake bolts near the water jackets due to corrosion and difference in materials.. Intake=aluminum head=cast iron bolts=steel.. Same with the water pump... x2 |

Ummmm Yesssss, as a matter of fact I have.
Phhhht. What? I was agreeing with him about having to tear down an engine with broken and corroded bolts, it's a PITA especially when it's your own vehicle and have to get it fixed after your shift at work is over and before it gets too dark to see. Or did you spring a leak? |
Has anyone replaced their OEM intake with an Edelbrock Intake? I have and there is an issue I am having with a temp sensor. It screws in on the driversside lower intake, right next to the rise. This sensor will not screw in because it hits the side of the rise. Just wondering if anyone that has used these Intakes, had the same problem, and what did they do to solve it? Thanks

Surely I am not the only guy on this forum that has replace stock Intake with edelbrock??? seriously? Need help all...
