I got a 03 F150 with the 4.6 windsor motor in it. I really need some help figuring this truck out. So the truck starts up idles fine while in park. No check engine or any other warning light on. I drive it down the road and it begins to hesitate and simultaneously the theft light flashes on the dash the same time the truck hesitates. I've read a lot of posts about the PATs system and from what I gather it cannot be the theft system malfunctioning because the truck is running.
What I have tried is disconnecting the battery, removing the PCM fuse, tried two different keys, battery has full charge.
Prior to this the truck had the insufficient EGR flow code and I cleaned out the EGR ports in the throttle body and since the check engine light has gone off.
I have no idea what is happening here and would appreciate any help. Frustrated

Any truck made before 97. You need to post in the late model section. I'm also fairly new to the site as well.
