I have a 1995 F150 with the Windsor 5.0 and a E4OD transmission. The #2 piston has a hole in it and I want to swap the engine and transmission out for another setup.

Here is my issue… I want to build the truck into a road course racer. I want higher rpm’s and manual transmission. I have a M5OD-R1 from a 1989 F150 donor truck, but want to replace the engine with a 289 (6 bolt bell housing pattern, not 5). Any ideas on compatibility issues I will run into?
