I have a 1991 F150 with a 5.8 and a auto trans!
It needs to completely rewired but I was thinking
of going carb and lose the EFI. I'm getting a Painless
18 cir. harness from Painless. I want to lose the computer
and everything related to it and run the truck with an old
school kind of wiring setup and maybe a aftermarket
electronic ignition (MSD, Mallory, etc.) also no cats! Inspection
is not a problem because of the age of the truck, in Texas you
can license it as a classic car and that means no state inspection!

Has anyone done this and can it be done?
