Default 1996 302 cam question

I have a 1996 F150, 302 Windsor. I've been told before that a hydraulic roller cam will not fit if I have a knock sensor, is this true or not? If it isn't true, what would be the best cam to choose? I don't mind to spend money, and I don't mind to upgrade extra parts like valve springs. I want the best hp and torque gain along with a nice lope. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

It should already have a hydraulic roller cam. My 95 did. As far as a cam call Comp and tell them about your truck and what you want to accomplish with a new cam. They will recommend a package for you.
