my 300 l6 bogs at around 1600 rpms. it seems like its the carb. the engine was rebuilt by aamco but they didnt seem to do that great of a job. but my friend and i have rebuilt the carb and it helped a little bit but it still bogs the timing is right the timing gears to top dead center and set the timing to 0 but it still bogs. my room mate says its a 300 thing but im not sure any suggestions?

 

Did you say timing was set on 0 ? The timing is suppose to be set on 10 degrees .

My 85 300 bogs around 1600 also. Its not rebuilt or anything, but it still bogs.
