Unhappy 4.9l alternator bracket

Hi i'm trying to figure out if the alternator can be taken out while it's still attached to the bracket. The main bolt holding the alternator on is stripped and it doesn't seem like there is any other way to remove it.
Help??
Please and thank you

I am also doing this right now, I busted the old alternator off and removed 2 bolts and a nut that I thought was all that held on the bracket, but I still can't seem to get the bracket off.

OK, so got it off, if you can get the alternator off, bust it to pieces, there's a bolt and a nut you remove that are behind it. Theres a bolt you remove right below the exhaust manifold, then there's 2 bolts behind the smog pump, remove the radiator hose and you can get to those 2.
