Default wiring

Ok I have searched for the right wiring threads but cant seem find the right one so I thought I would just ask. I have a headache rack with led reverse and brake lights in it I would like to wire in. I want them to come on with the regular brake lights and reverse lights come on. There are three wires in the back of the leds and there are five wires that come out of the headache rack. Where do I start?

The wire diagram of the rack should tell you which wire is which.
Probably a taillight, left signal/brake light, right signal/brake, reverse and ground.
Next you have to run the wires to the correct taillight and hook them up to the correct wires there.

Not to jack the thread, but I'm building my own custom rack and going to wire turn signal/brake lights and reverse lights up as well. Where would be the best place to wire them in without the truck thinking I have a trailer hooked up all the time. Thanks in advance.
