Default What LED light...

I was looking at a How to on puddle lamp LEDs and come to find out the lights in my tow mirror puddle lamps aren't festoon bulbs like the ones on the how to write up. I have a picture of the bulb and was going to see if anyone knew what LED bulb is the "equivalent" to this one.

I was just going to get either some clear rtv or maybe even some epoxy to put it back together. I bought the mirrors off of rock auto and went to take the puddle lamps out and the clear cap came off super easy. If they wouldn't have broke off I could have just pulled the wiring out and not even have had to take them apart.

I could glue the lens back on now but I want to wait and make sure I don't have to slide the grommet back through the hole then plug the light in in case it is too big to fit through the hole.

You might want to look into a side firing led for that type of light if it will point the right way in the housing

I've read a lot of people say great things about that VLED site. I ordered 4 10 led SMD 194 lights off of ebay for $12 shipped and if they don't work that well I will probably go to that site for new ones. I just couldn't pass up 3 dollars a bulb. I also ordered a 30 led festoon bulb for $3. I will post pics when I get them all the 4 should be here on the 3rd and the festoon will be here anywhere between the 3rd and the 27th

Ok, that's why your bulbs are Different! You went Aftermarket mirrors, although thats a much easier way to upgrade to leds.... Rather than having to cut off the clear lens like most op!
