Headlights, since we are talking about headlights. Unless you have your factory housing retrofitted in which case I assume you were without them for a length of time. I would stick with the CBI's over the LEDs. From my research, HID bulbs still outperform LED bulbs in a projector.
Hey dave... would this work for you... as I mentioned earlier, the ability to take off the base of the bulb, so you could mount it behind your plastic retainer ring, then you can slide the bulb into the ring and it snaps in... here is an H7 bulb as an example. This can be done with ALL of our bulbs (on some models you remove the set screw first, on others like the H7 and D2/D4 you just PULL it off)

"NOTE: If your vehicle's existing headlight bulbs are held in place by a retainer ring the XHP Series LED bulbs may not fit due to the width of the fan. Please check your headlight's existing retainer ring to ensure there is ample clearance."

Well that's the problem you are having. However with our lights you can remove the bulb base like I showed you. It MAY or MAY NOT fix your issue. Can't tell till you try it out OR if you are not using the lights yet, send them my way I'll test fit them before you have to buy anything
