Default Tailgate light bar hardwire

I had some issues tying into the tail light wiring on my 2016 f150. I think part of the issue was a poor connection with the quick splice connectors. Another thing I wasn't sure about was whether I had to tie into the ground on the passenger side also. Four out of the five wires went to the drivers side (left turn, reverse, run/stop and ground) and right goes to passenger side. Do I also have to ground the passenger side? Thanks

I thought I answered this exact same question last week (yep, 4-17). Here goes again. I have zero problems using posi-taps and I didn't run the ground to either tail light. I took it straight to one of the grounding lugs on the frame.

I used different connectors and the problem was solved. I just didn't get a good enough connection plus a bulb needed to be replaced thru the process so that didn't help. Thanks for your help
