Default Strange hyperblink issue

I have a 2011 EcoScrew that I upgraded the front turn signals on. I recently installed JDM ASTAR LED switchbacks in my front turn signals with a 50w 6ohm resistor on each side.
These are the LEDs:

The strange thing is they hyperblink when the headlights are off, but if I have the headlights on they work fine. Anybody had this problem before? I'd really prefer to not have to run my headlights all the time.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The easiest fix would be to lose the resistors and fix it with Forscan.
