Spyder Headlight Installation Trouble
#13
Well that's a D3s opening all right, so it's the right housing. However you need bulbs that don't have leads on them (like our D1/D3 LED's, *shameless plug*).
You could do it yourself you just need to wire up the H13 to your housnig.
Does not look like Spyder put much though into this, kept it pretty universal. OR they expect you to re-use all the components from your factory HID system in here, which may or may not work. Do the spyder lights have a solenoid that lowers/raises the shield for the high/low? Or do they have a separate housing for the low/high?

That I'm not really sure of...Well I don't wanna do any rewiring and I would like to use my HIDs....So either they're gonna refund my headlights or get this issue fixed because this is nonsense...You can't say it works for stock HIDs when it doesn't....Or I can send them to somebody who can help me out

They will probably work. The LED ballasts has clips onthe end that you'd need to wire into the existing harness, and they are not dual beam. So that's why I asked about the 2nd location for a 2nd bulb (high beam)... otherwise if there is only 1 bulb location there must be a shield and a solenoid that moves... without the lights in front of me I couldn't say how they'd wire up.
HID will throw light a bit further, but not much really. HID also have to warm up (no instant on) and over time will change colors and eventually die. LED's don't do that.
We have D1/D2/D3/D4 available to replace HID lights but every installation is different and usually it requires some thinking on your own to wire it up. Not true plug and play since you are taking an HID system (which usually has a solenoid for a "wall" that moves) and replacing it with something else.
If you were up to sending them to us we'd be happy to take a look, see if our product fits. We'd ship them back within 24 hours of receiving them letting you know if we were able to get them to fit or not (and what would be required to make them fit if we could not, as we don't want to cut into your lights naturally plug and play is what we're looking for).
PM me if you are willing to send them over to us to take a look at.

Do you have a HID equipped truck? It looks like you would need to swap all the parts over from the OEM HID lights. I think that plug is suppose to go to the ballast and a jumper would come off the ballast and go to the bulb. See below for reference.

that connector plugs into the ballast that you have to remove from the headlight assembly your replacing. the ballast is then installed into the spyder light, the additional wire on the ballast will plug into the bulb that you are also transferring and installing into the spyder light.
