Default replacement bulbs

I would like brighter fog lights and wondering what others have done. did you use incandescent or led bulbs to replace or replace the whole units? what kind of lights? or which bulbs? thanks!!

If you have square fogs, you can put 9005 65w bulbs in there. Direct swap, 50% more wattage. Do not exceed 45w with round fog housings.

Need to know what year you have to provide spec.

my truck is a 2012 f150 lariat 4x4. the fog housings are round and too dim for my old, almost blind eyes, that's why I need MORE POWER on the fogs.

You'll need H10s for your fogs then. LEDs are an option, but if you really wanted super bright, an HID retrofit is the way to go. Our Morimoto HID conversion kit is straight plug and play with an output of 3,400 lumens.

Our brightest plug and play LED H10 bulb replacement, the XML2, will produce 1,420 lumens (measured), which is a significant improvement over the factory halogen bulbs.

Here's a comparison with all of our LED options installed in a 2014 F-150:
