Default Relay Harness

I just installed my relay harness for the hi/lo xenon hid kit...and whenever I put on my Hi's the high beam fuse blows out in my truck... I have it installed correctly. You think it could be my relay thats bad ? or did they not send me the bi-xenon that they were supposed to?...the lows work fine.... Thanx

Only thing I can recommend is putting a resistor in-line of the relay, but then it would dim your headlights. It is possible that the harness itself is pulling enough amperage to where it is to large for the fuse, but I would usually never recommend upgrading the fuse, but it is a possibility that the average amperage output is higher than the rated fuse.

If the fuse is blowing, then obviously it is not hooked up correctly. Whatever you do, DO NOT put a higher amp fuse in, as you can melt wires by pulling too much current thru them.

Best thing to do is remove the kit and start fresh, odds are you grounded out a wire or something and that's causing your short.
