Default Quick DDM HID question!

I know that this topic has been beat to death but I still cannot find all the information that I need and was hoping to order a set of these tomorrow.

I want to get a set of DDM HIDs. I want 5000k in both my headlights and fog lights. It is my understanding that I need 55w for the headlights and 35w for the fog lights, both in 5000k, for them to match colors, right?

I have read lots of reviews and other people's reviews and it does not appear that I will nee any wiring harnesses? If I do need a wire harness, which ones do I need?

And finally, I know that the bulb for the headlight is the H13/9008 but what is the bulb for the fog light? I know that the number is 9140 but what corresponds to this number on DDM website?

Thank yall for any and all help.

The k (kelvin) is the color of the light output. The wattage will be how much power it will draw. I'm not sure if the housing will be ok with 55w. 35w should be plenty for heads and fogs. Wiring harnesses will help about 80% of the time because you will be drawing from the battery and most likely with a bigger wire gauge than factory wiring....As for the bulbs, it says h13 for headlights and the 9140 cross-references to h10 for foglights.

I'm not sure about what wattages will match colors, but you will need wiring harnesses. They'll send you everything you'll need in order to get the job done. It all comes as a set. If you're keeping the stock fog light housing then you will need the HID bulb size that matches the size of the fog bulb size, which you have already indicated is 9140.

I've got the DDM HID kit and haven't had a problem. I've had them for quite a while now.

Loc and Blue... Thank yall. Yall pretty much answered all of my questions. I am aware of the difference in watts and temperatures. I was only thinking 55w in the headlights because they are much larger. I will only go 35w in the fogs. The 5000k should give me a clean white light with barely, if any, blue tint.

I know that the HID kits come with a wiring harness but I am wondering if the additional wiring harnesses are necessary. DDM says that they might be necessary with the 55w so I figure that I will be fine with only the 35w. Also, I am assuming that I will not need any error eliminators?

These extras are located here..
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

And basically, to summarize, All I need is a H13 35w 5000k kit and a H10 35w 5000k kit? Nothing extra to make them work or anything?

Error eliminators?
If it's not going to hurt your pocket book too much, i would get the relay harnesses. If you call your order in, just ask them if you have everything for the install.

Yeah I am just going to have to call them in the morning. At the checkout it ask if you need any of the following,
HID Harness
Error Eliminator
Adaptor cables
Mounting Brackets

I am unsure what I will need. Also, since our trucks are wired to run on 55w, will there be any problems moving down to a 35w bulb? I know that Dodges do not like this at all.

I would just like to get 2 5000k kits in 35w because its easy, however, most people get 55w in the heads. I have heard that the 55w washes out the light so I am now thinking 55w 6000k for the heads and 35w 5000k for the fogs. Do you think this will work? With the 55w heads I will get the wire harness for sure for the heavier wiring.

You won't need error eliminators. I'm running 35w and my truck is perfectly fine. If you're just doing 35w you won't need anything extra
