I put a set of aftermarket projector headlights on my 2004 and with every little bump or dip in the road I hit, the light pattern moves up and down.
On my wife's 2013 Explorer with factory projector headlights, I have not noticed the light pattern moving when hitting bumps or
dips in the road.

I'm assuming it's cheap/low-quality projector assemblies in the aftermarket headlight assemblies causing the issue.

 

Yes, cheap projectors bounce all over. I have Moimoto XB led projectors in my truck, and they do not bounce at all.
