Default Power supply for bench testing HIDs

For the HID retrofit experts: what do you recommend as a power supply/set up to bench test your retrofits off the truck?

I am almost done with my retrofit project (Mini H1 in stock housings) but would like to test without attaching to my truck's battery.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't do retrofits but from car audio experience I have always used a 120v to 12v inverter. Always fuse everything! I'll try and get a picture of mine for you
