Default Platinum HIDs

hello everybody, got a question if anyone can help. Got a 2014 f150 platinum with the stock HIDs. Can this system be upgraded to a 55w ballast? And also, can it be switched to an LED headlight instead? I have always put my own HID kits on my cars but they never had stock HID systems so it’s a little different for me. Thanks in advance!

put them in the oven - install EVO X-R 2.0 projectors - add c-bar switchbacks if you'd like - close them back up.

no need for LEDzzzzzz
no need for 55w ballast

sharper and brighter just by swapping out the sh**ty stock HID projector for a better HID projector. it's a direct swap. the EVO X-R 2.0 projector can use the stock HID bulbs/ballast you currently have.

I appreciate the input but I would rather not do the whole oven thing. Really just looking to see if I can upgrade to a 55w or if I decided to go LED, then how would I do that with stock HIDs

Sure do leds... if you want to downgrade. I would not do a 55 watt on those. Get a nice set of CBI bulbs and call it a day.
