Hey guys, I was looking to get some nice bright bulbs without doing a HID kit but stay D.O.T. approved (already got a ticket once for yellow bulbs ) Go FLORIDA!! Anyways, thought I'd ask around. I was looking at these... http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts.aspx?category|category_root|-26=Lighting&category|cat_-26|353=Bulbs&attribute_value_string|Brand=PIAA&att ribute_value_string|Bulb+Size=9008+%28H13%29&canne d_results_trigger=&partfamilyid=3166

Also, anyone ever bought any of the HID dome lights?

Yeah, I was looking at the I guess... SilverStar Ultras(?). What ever the highest end ones are. I don't think they make them in the H13's or what ever it is my year model needs. Or at least the like two or three places I've looked hasn't had them.

Yeah, I just looked at HID conversion kits. Yes, I know I said no kits lol. I do alot of back and forth trips on some roads with like 0 light and I'm always on them usually at night and want some good light. But I didn't know the kits were as "cheap" as they are. Has anyone installed them b4??, are they really just plug and play as they say? I guess after you mount the lil box?

I have used plug and play before and they are nice. If you want to go with HID, check out Xtune HID systems. More then likely your headlight is low/high together which is around 135.00 with a one year warranty. I have a 2010 F150. The light housing is to big to handle the power od an HID and I opted to use the PIAA Extreme, they put out 4000K, which is the stock color/temp of cars with HID's. Good Luck!
