Default Location of bed lightning

Anyone use these pass throughs in the bed of the truck to mount lights for bed lightning? I have 2 of them up against the cab area of the truck. So these would be pointing towards the tail gate.

I'm thinking a oval led backup light would work.

Is there enough room behind them to mount anything or run wires?

Most people do down the rails of a tonneau cover system, or down the cab rails, because if you put something in the trunk and slide it forward, the bed is now dark.
