I posted this is in the general forum before I saw this forum...

I purchased a pair of forward firing 194 Leds from VLEDS for my tag lights but the bulbs were too big for the housing. My question is can I use them for the map lights? Is a forward firing LED the right choice or does it need to be one that has 360 degree lighting? The first pic is the one I have and the 2nd pic is of the 360 degree LED. Thanks!

 

for more overall light, choose the 360 degree LED. it will reflect off of the reflector bowl to spread more light.
