LED Tail Light Idea
I have this idea for LED tail lights, but not sure how to go about it. I've seen LED tail lights on Chicago PD squads and my local municipality salt trucks where whenever they step on the brakes, the lights flicker for a split second then go solid.
I'm pretty certain there aren't commercially available F150 tail lights that already do this, so my thought was to cut out the LED section of a lens housing and retrofit it with the guts of a Whelen signal alert light. If anyone knows of another manufacturer who has this same effect for their lights and is cheaper, please let me know before I spend $100 per Whelen unit.

Same thing, just read the discription (each one flashes the lights differently).
MUCH easier and alot less money. Simple splice in.
