Default LED pods

So I wanted to add some extra lighting up front but didn't really want a LED light bar like everyone else. So I went a different direction...

Measure 2 cut once

Used a Dremel to cut out the holes

Looking good, now to check them out on the truck.

Looking good but, not a fan of the different black tones and sliver bolt heads..

A little plastic to blend it all in.

Well, rear ended a lady while the paint was drying, guess I'll need a new bumper now... ☹️

Well, new bumper is in and put together. Finishing tomorrow.

Nice job. Glad you didnt rear end her after you got everything together. I am actually looking to do something similar. My thought is to get the front and rear bumper Line-Xed with the recessed LEDs like you have. Still in the process of looking for someone to do the Line-X. Glad you painted the bolts. Looks cleaner.

Jacob, I love the idea of putting the lights in the black plastic areas like you did. How difficult was it to get the black plastic off of the chrome bumper? I just got my 2020 and like you, not a big fan of the bar lights. Any issues with the lights shining to low or not straight ahead?

The plastic parts pops off with plastic pry tools the lights are aimed down well, but my truck still sits at factory rake.
