Honest review of 4x4TruckLED's led headlights

first, a small bit about myself. I was a long time member at another f150 forum that has since turned into a ghost town.

I met 4x4TruckLED's over there and battled him for a month as I was 100% against PnP led headlights.

I'm not going to be the guy that just says "these are awesome" and posts a single pic.

I'll let the photos speak and will keep this short. I tested these against sylvania zxe halogen bulbs. Photos were taken with my iPhone 6S. There are some damp spots on the road in a couple of the comparison pics. Nothing is doctored in anyway and there are no filters applied to the photos.

So far, I like them. I can't speak on longevity, but I like the output and the color temp. I'm not getting glare and that was my main concern. Oh, and even though I bickered back and forth with 4x4truckleds and pretty much told him his leds were junk, he was still a nice guy and gave me the chance to try and also review these.

Now for the pics.

The low beam led has a shield to help with the cut off.

These LEDs are adjustable. If you do not possition them correctly, you will get the dreaded glare we all know so well.

However, if you install correctly, there will be no more glare than a halogen produces.

Here's a wall shot comparing the halogen with the led. The cutoff is about equal.

Yeah, I'm definitely getting those kits now! I was trying to find some better night shots and just wow!!! My question though, is did you have to adjust the headlights when you put the new bulbs in or leave them be? Obviously you have an older truck but it would be all the same, would it not?

If you get 4x4truckleds lights, just instal them how they come out of the box. The directions were backwards before and told you to flip them. They may have since changed.

But yeah, don't do any adjustments to the light, just instal like you would with a halogen.

You have an 09-14 right? Yeah, even though we have different shaped headlights, they both use H13 and would be pretty much the same.
