Default HIDs opinion

Ok y'all, I've been looking at getting some HIDs for my 2006 f150 screw. And I have found some that seem great to me, but I'm asking for your personal opinions on these ones. I'm wanting to get the 6000k, let me know what ya think.

Or if y'all suggest a different brand/option go ahead and let me know!

Thanks

Over priced in my opinion. You can get DDM bixenon HIDs for a lot less. I even bought some eBay brand, I think called Xentec, for $60. Been using them for months and no issues.

I agree^^^. Overpriced. I too bought a xentec kit from ebay. They have been on my truck now for 9 months and they don't flicker and I haven't had to replace anything.

Xentec h13 for headlights, and h10 for fog lamps? I was wanting to order 8000k for both. Any reason NOT to get 8k for fogs?

h13 is the headlight for sure. Mine doesn't have fog lamps so not sure which one that would take. If i had fogs I would definately match the bulb temp to the headlights. I have 8000k headlights and Rigid LED spots up front and they match pretty well too if you wanted to try an led instead, but hid will be cheaper. I've done several of these kits so i could do both in around 45 minutes or less but if you have never done one plan on an hour or more for both kits.

try and put your ballast in a spot that doesn't get as much moisture or heat as other spots, such as the inner fender.

Good suggestion for the ballasts - thanks.

Q: my truck has Daytime Running Lights, (DRL), is this plug play kit going to work flawlessly with my day times or am I supposed to order something else now to make the daytimers work, without flicker or w/e?
