Default HID problems

I have a 2005 F150 Lariat. I been having HID head/fog lights for sometime now. Recently my headlights are giving me trouble. When i turn them on, only my passenger side lights up but not my driver side. The fog lights work fine. I have had them in for about 3+ years now. I had my cousin order the kit and install them since i didn't feel like dealing with it because i was building a house at the time and had enough problems with that. My cousin knows a lot about trucks so i trusted him with the install. After a week or 2 of it not coming on, i got aggravated and read online about it. Ive tried everything possible. Since i am getting rid of the truck soon, within the next 6 months i was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how to put stock headlights back in. In looking at it, the idiot cut the wires and made the connections by crimping and using electrical tape, so i don't have the original factory sockets to plug my normal head lights back in. I just want to put the stock back in, so i can stop wasting money on this truck.

I would assume i need something like this to regain factory head lighting back?
