Question HID Ballast Placement

Does anyone have any pics of where/how they put their HID ballasts? Mine will be here soon and I am looking for good secure ideas.

Thanx in advance!

i put em on the radiator cowl, i dont recomend it because it just sucks to do work that requires removing the cowl but they are a good place to put them for just sheer security

someone mounted their ballasts on the wiper fluid resevoir and the fuse box.
They get warm, but certainly shouldn't be getting super hot. Most ballasts are mounted with zip ties or double stick tape... if it doesn't melt those, it sure as hell shouldn't melt a wiper fluid resivoir or fuse box. If yours are getting hot enough to melt plastic, you've got a problem.

I have mine on my fuse box with no problems.. on the other side I have one on the fender and the other down a little lower... no problems at all..
i once tried ddm HID ballasts slim and normal ones, no difference..
so it is better to install that kind of vvme.com slim HID ballasts easily to hide and avoid too much heat....
