I feel stupid. Third brake light on my 08 F150 STX was leaking so I was applying a new sealant and the harness came loose from the connection up inside the cab roof. How do I get into that area to reconnect the harness? Or is there another option.

So you got "new" contented oem HID f150 headlamps minus the wiring harness for $800? Bro if that's true sign me up! Scouring ebay, and nothing even close to that deal right now...found $300ish used one with missing pins, lol

You can either drop the headliner, or try to reach back in there from the opening behind the third brake light. If the harness just came apart by itself the latch is probably broken, and I would recommend dropping the headliner so you can reconnect it and also zip tie (or some other securing method) it back together so it won't come apart again.

 

I found Alfred (816GodsChild) on ebay, mentioned the f-150 forum as well as word of Mouth! He gave me a $150 discount, for the new lights, and Yes everything except the needed Wiring Harness!


I got the wiring harness from Joseph for $105.00 But now TRS sells them direct!
