Default Help with LEDs

I want to connect LEDs to my headlights so when my headlights turn on so will my LEDs in the floor boards but I can't find a 12v wire in the switch for the headlights and I don't have a voltmeter to check or a owners manual. Can anyone tell me where is a good place in my 06 f150 XLT SuperCrew cab 5.4 triton to find a 12v wire?

If you want them to turn on when your headlights do, you can just tap into the relay. I think they make a connection that will help out with that. The relay is inside the fuse panel in the cab on the passenger side floor board if I'm not mistaken.

Like Nick said, find the headlight wire relay and splice into that, they will go on and off with the headlights. Or even better, find the running light relay, that way they stay on until you lock the car.

Thanks I ended up just connecting it to the ignition switch wire from the radio so now they turn on when I start the truck

I would of liked to wired my Ambient Lighting to my Dash Lights(so Ambient Lighting Came On and Off w/Dash Lights), but wasn't all that crazy out Hacking up the Factory wiring! So I just ran them directly to the battery added a add a fuse and a backlight blue led switch, to match the leds in my Ambient Lighting...
