Glad I got out when I did.... sucks to hear communication/finish time issues are still there..

I agree. I had my order in last year with Tux and the inconsistency in deliveries and communication were too much for me. I thought at the time that it was simply not enough organization, but I guess I was wrong. There should have been more than enough time since then to get it together. Glad I went another route as well.

I wanted a set for my truck before I went on a snowmobile trip that was 4 months out. He told me they would be done with a month of time to spare, so I ordered up at the time, a basic kit no LEDS just painted buckets and shrouds.
As it got closer, he kept saying he was on track but would be cutting it close, I was emailing him every week - two weeks asking timeline of the build and general questions. As it got closer to Christmas time, he said there was a chance I was going to get them in time but if I wanted to pay more he would put a rush on them, I said no thank you as it was a pretty good amount of money, but I did not get them in time for the trip needless to say. In fact I kept waiting and questioning with no answer, all in this thread and in PM's, just delays (maybe I got bumped by people who decided to pay extra at Christmas time). After a year of waiting and still being 3 deep on the list for over 4 months and no progress pics, when some medical bills came up I decided to see if I could part ways, which he was happy to do, I guess it was one less build for him.
It just chapped my *** bad that there was constantly pics of messing with LED bedlights, r - series rigid lights in fog lamps, led conversions and other stuff but no light progress pics even after having the money down. I understand this is a side job and things come up with family and young kids, moving, etc but IMO things change when you accept money from a paying customer and tell them specifics or promise completions.

So again I apologize for anyone waiting and a refund will be sent tonight. I would highly recommend bill or Dawson at raptor retrofits for a quick and speedy retro!

i waited over a year for my lights, got them (they got damaged in transit). Sent them back for a repair. 3 months later without being able to reach Tux, I just packaged everything up and sent it all back. I still haven't been able to reach anybody about a refund or whatever although i've tried. i'm guessing that's $1200 or so i'll never see again.
