I am starting to have problems with these, Wonder if the heat range of max +80 has anything to do with it. What would make it any better to go to +179 as advertised by another place.
All looks the same to me

What problems are you having? Mine been working fine. If you are having flickering issues then you probably need to get the anti-flicker harness since the computer will think the bulb is out due to the less power draw of the LEDs. I used forscan to disable the bulb out issue, but some get the anti-flicker harness as well.

Started with the fans making noise, then the passenger side when out about 4 days ago and this morning the driver side is acting up. Been installed for about 1 1/2 years. Did have the everything tucked inside the light cavity, (2015 F150). Waiting on the first replacement now, and have email the vendor about this latest issue today

Could be a heat issue with the ballast being in the cavity. Not sure if there is a difference between the operating temperature you were asking. I would guess they are the same.

I am sure whichever vendor you purchased from will help you out. If you bought on ebay or someplace else you may have more trouble with replacements. I took the risk for the price and if I have issues down the road, I will go HID or just buy another set just due to price alone. My ballasts are outside the cavity though, so may help more with the heat but the bulbs produce enough themselves I am sure.

That 80 is Celsius btw (176 F)

Be careful on the ballasts with these. These cheaper kits use the old ballasts, which is why they are so cheap. Trying to move the inventory. They also ship from China so expect long wait times and if you have a problem, expect more longer wait times.

Chances are, they'll work fine for you though. Just make sure you don't install the ballasts inside a headlight cavity of course.

Replacement is already on it's way to you (USPS shows that it will be delivered today). And you may just need a CANbus for the lights OR since you are only running 1 bulb now (as your email stated) the truck might be turning it off because it's seeing a missing bulb on the other side.

BTW, not a year and a half... we have not been in business that long More like 10 months

FYI, my LEDs shipped from Maryland, so just another re-seller like yourself.
