Which fuse to use?
Hey guys I installed a auxbeam 6 gang panel on my 2020 f150 2.7 the thing is i am not sure what fuse to use so its not always on. I want it to turn on when the ignition is on. wanting to use the fuse box under the hood not the passenger inside.
In my 2018 SCAB with the powerful TT Hamster engine, I use fuse 58, a 5amp fuse, to activate a relay to power some stuff and thangs. The fuse is labeled USB Smart Charger.

Used an old school test light to find a fuse that only had power with the key in the run position.

Fuse #15 is another that will do what you want. Many of us use that one for the DRL's with Morimoto heads.
Is this just for lighting and control power?

that fuse for me is a 7.5A and is always hot. recommended a 10A i went with fuse 36 which turns on with the truck.
yes for lighting like ditch lights . Amberlights and whatever else I decided to add to the switch.
