Let me know how they look on your truck. I'm thinking of picking up LED lows from 4x4 as well. I wish there were people with pics of it installed in a 2014 headlight!

Maybe they have "upgraded" their LEDs or something, but I bought from them last year and am not impressed with their light output.

Their license plate lights already burned out. Their cargo light output was not very good. Their interior led kit output not to my satisification.

I recently replaced my license plate and cargo lights from 4x4, the difference is night and day compared to F150LED. 4x4 sells diode dynamics bulbs, way better than the cheap lights from F150leds.

Diode Dynamics are really good quality. The other lights you got (which I had also, still have some if anybody wants them lol) were just cheap ones you can get from China. Very inexpensive. Even the Diode Dynamic ones come from China (some of them any way). I still choose to buy from Diode Dynamics even though I can get them for half (and then give you guys a discount). The customer support is worth it in my eyes to pay a bit more. The same reason I like StreetGlow. The USA customer support and USA shipping is so much better. No 2-3 week leadtimes when I need things, they come within a few days. Just worth it. Plus I know they look at everything they buy and THEY are responsible to ensure quality control on the products they use.

I was branding my own lights actually from China for a while and while any bulb that had my name on it was a GOOD quality bulb, I had some that were NOT branded that I tried from a different source that were NOT up to par (I've swapped those out for people with the better quality ones).

LED's are a dime a dozen, literally but there's more to a company then the price you pay. You have to look at a lot of things.

I work as a security integrator for a living (it's how I pay the bills) and we're one of the more expensive companies in our area BUT you get better quality and support from us. So customers pay more for that. You can buy a security camera anywhere but they pay 4x more through us for that "one stop shop for all your issues" type deal.

You sound like my English teacher and writing a compare and contrast paper, but you actually have a good idea.

Haha. Well, English was one of my best subjects... aside from chemistry and physics.

Keep in mind, this isn't a requirement or obligation or anything like that. Only a suggestion.

English was one of my best subjects also, but I let that all go out the window when it comes to writing on forums. Many years of quick internet convos will do that to ya

I was horrible at science. Failed ES, took it in Summer School, Failed Biology but took it again when I moved to a different school and they were a year behind (did great at it the 2nd year, go figure). I passed Physics but SHOULD have failed Chemistry but I think the teacher just let me squeeze by.

Maybe that's why my masters degree is in criminal justice and after my military career, I went into law enforcement. I looking forward to getting my lights and then I'll make sure I post a comment about the lights.

Let's see if all that book learnin helps you become a headlight retrofittor. I'll be a bit behind you so please let me know how it goes, and how you love them . Do you plan on adjusting /aiming them yourself?

Mine are supposed to be here on Tuesday (7 July) and then I'm putting them in on Thursday (9 July). Hopefully the install goes as easy as it looks on the self help video I was sent. It might be a little while before I take my truck out at night to see how they perform at night due to my work schedule. I have an appointment next week and I'm going to have them adjusted at the dealer since I also have the Rancho Quick lift on my truck and it raised my truck 3 plus inches in the front. I don't want to blind on coming traffic or my favorite sitting behind someone at night at a traffic light.

Mine just came in the mail today. Let me just say you're going to love the way these look! I'm definitely going to have to learn how to aim the lights properly myself. I need develop some standard adjustments for when I tow my boat, utility, or travel trailer all with different tongue weights. I wanted to start out with some of the best LED retrofit kits available. Be sure to post how it's going.
