I am trying to connect to the interior lighting circuit in my truck and I am having a very weird issue. I have read through past post and found that the wire I need is the gray/purple stripe wire , no problem there. The weird issue is that I made the foot area lighting connection it works. I go to driver side find the wire and tap in no problem it works. The problem comes when I try to connect another LED strip to that same wire. it trips the circuit. It doesn't blow the fuse, just trips the circuit and shuts the lights off. Then I have to wait a few seconds and unconnect that new LED strip and it's back on

I know it's Mother's Day but I really hope someone can help....please???
