I'm looking at the Recon projector lights for my truck. They have two sets: one uses CCFL for the halos and the other features LEDs. It's $100 more for the CCFL version, which are also supposed to produce 40% more light over the LED model.

Is it worth the extra $100 for the CCFL Halos? A couple of people have mentioned reliability issues with the CCFL models but would like to hear from the enlightened/knowledgeable ones... I want something that will last.

 

I just ordered the CCFL Recon's for my 2011 talked to Recon about the option and explained how the CCFL is much brighter and looks better I will know next week when they arrive I will post some before and after I had the Led Halo's on my other truck not real bright
