Tried to get a recon line of fire tailgate break light bars installed on my 2013 F150 platinum and they said it couldn't be done because of some kind of bracket.
-Can this be installed or is there another brand that can be installed?
-Does anyone have a tailgate light bar installed on a 2013 F150 platinum, which brand style did you use?

 

im not sure what kind of "bracket" they are talking about. I put Recons white lightening lightbar in myself on my 2012 Harley edition and there were no issues, im not sure if there are any real differences between truck bodies. if you look closely between the tailgate and bumper, there is a small lip on the bottom edge of the box, i just set mine right on top of that lip and it cleared everything including the harness for the back up camera. i also undid the bumper and set it down to give me more room to work, and then hard-wired it into the 7wire plug for towing. anyways hope this helps!

 

Is there a reverse light terminal in the 7 wire plug ?,I want to hard wire mine in also but have been waiting for the weather to break .
