Well man hids burn less power and produce 3xs as much light due to a ballast. The brands I like are DJM, Xentec and can't remember the other ones. You can go to HIDnation.com or vleds(spent way to much money there). Hopefully this helps

 

Also read over on the hidplanet.com forum, a wealth of knowledge and experts there.

What's the quality like on the hidnation gear? I've been using TRS gear, compared to the kensun kit I got, much better quality, no noise, works every single time.

 

I just ordered a set from TRS. I have had DDM in my last 3 vehicles and their service sucks along with their products. I am interested in the projectors but I was getting information overload and could not figure out what ones or how to do it. Maybe if we finally get some rain this weekend and I am stuck inside I will research it more.
