AutoLamp Causing HID Light Not To Come On?
I installed some retrofitted HID's I got from RaptorRetrofit.com this past weekend, overall I'm very happy with them. But I'm having an issue I could use some feedback on.
If I start the truck when it's dark out and the AutoLamp is on, the passenger side comes on but not the driver side. If I start the truck with the lights off (manual light control) I can turn the **** and both come right on. Same seems to apply if I'm driving and it gets dark and AutoLamp is on, both lights come on just fine, so it seems to be an issue on start up only.
I've searched the internet and I've seen some posts saying not to use AutoLamp with HID's, another post said it might save wear and tear on the ballasts to use manual only with HID's.
I used a harness with a relay, everything is tight and a liberal coating of dielectric grease was used to prevent moisture and corrosion.
Anybody else had this problem?
