So, looking at projector conversion stuff and came across both the anzo and recon parts. I see a ton of info and pics of installs for the anzo, but very little about the recon, which I of course like more.

Are they that much worse or just an economic issue since the recon are more expensive?

 

My .02... a lot of people dont like Recon because its more expensive than Anzo or Spyder, but Recon still use the same crappy halogen projectors that the cheaper brands do, and are still made in China / Taiwan / wherever like Anzo and Spyder. I've heard people have problems with Recon (mainly third brake light)... I had the recon brake light and never had issues. I personally would much rather spend that money and retrofit oem halogen lights, much cleaner look and way better performance, but thats just me.

 

I thought about and priced that, but I'm just not a big fan of the oem LED or projector look. I dunno though, I'm only a little worried about screwing something up, so I may just DIY a retrofit on my halogens.
