Ambiant lighting

I have a 2019 platinum and I found that i have no lighting around my shifter console and I also have no lighting for the gear i'm in . Is this the way its supposed to be ?

My early build 2018 Lariat has it, but I understand they dropped it as a cost saving measure sometime in 2018.
