There is a little glare with my 6000k, but I haven't been flashed once since I reaimed them a month ago. My brother hasn't been flashed with his 5000k either.

What we did was mark the stock bulbs and aim the HIDs a little lower. Then I drove our moms Vic to make sure there wasn't a lot of glare following someone.

It's sad to see so many people just dropping in HIDs into the stock reflector. They don't perform well, they look horrible (ricer glare, anyone?), and glare in your face just sucks. You can aim them down as far as you want, you will always have glare. HID bulbs produce an arc of light, while halogens produce a very straight, thin line. The reflector of the F150 is designed for the halogen, and putting the wide arc of the HID in there creates all kinds of refracted light in all directions. You really want to drive toward this??

If you want HIDs, do it the right way. Retro-fit FTW.

Whats the Retro fit do. I do not want the funky projector, halo, and led headlights, it looks like you couldnt make up your mind what you wanted.

Thanks for posting my pic, helps show your ignorance. That was before aiming them and with an auto setting on my crappy camera. I know I have some glare, but not as bad as the apc bulbs I was.running. if you care so much, feel free to send me the $400 to retrofit them.

Is it the housing i had philips night guide halogens before and the were extremely bright and a nice pattern. is there a way around this or should I just return them
