Question All blue bulbs.

What do you guys think if these?

Not the ones for the tailights/corner, but the headlight and fogs I can get w/o the others.

I bought a set of that brand a few years ago. Within just a few months they burnt out. So I quit buying that brand. But you might get lucky. I like the NOKYAs off of ebay. I can get them locally but they are twice as much here. And I can get almost 2 to 3 years out of mine. Just a warning, you may not be happy with those for that price. But at the same time, maybe theyve changed. If you do get them keep me updated on them, let us know how they work. Maybe I will go with those. But so far my Nokyas are pretty good, and the yellow fogs are kick *****. I got pics if you want an idea of what they look like on the road

I am looking around and trying to get some blues. Some others have said the same as you. From another source and brand I ordered some for the map and dome and want some for the headlights/foglights. Then I will try and tackle the dash etc. I will check out the ones you said.

I have not heard of longevity of true HIDs, but in my opinion, if youre gonna have truck for awhile, I would go with HIDs. when I can get an 04 or newer, I will be putting HIDs in. I will do both headlights and fog lights. From what Ive heard, you will be much happier with HIDs. But, if you want to stick with factory, keep searching, but I dont think youre gonna get the blue you want from the ones you found. Ive even tried PIAAs and they were super white. So far the best blue ive found without going HID were the Nokyas. In fact, Im gonna do a search on ebay right now for a little bit lower K, In hopes they will be a little brighter, but still have a blue tint. My headlights are 7000k and my fogs are 2500k. I think if you were to go with anything less than 7000, youre gonna start to get more white than blue.

Yeah, I think I am gonna have to wait on those. I will try and see how much the HID conversion will be total and some good brands.

www.autolumination.com
great site, good people to deal with. kinda confusing and not very user friendly, but i run their LED interior lights in my mustang and truck, and xenon super whites on the exterior of both.

Thats not a bad price for HIDs. 170 for High and low beams. I think you would be happy with either 6000k or 8000k for your headlights. And I still think if you go with HIDs for fogs, get the yellow if you do any fog or heavy snow driving

Well, I ordered HID's for the headlights and they are 10K as I want real blue and I am never in the snow (well, almost never). When my funds re-generate I will go for the fogs. Still trying to piece together enough info for the complete interior blue though.
