On my Ram, I did the small Rigids, and used the Curt extra pigtail, so I didn't connect into any factory wiring. Tapped into reverse...man those things are bring.

well i should have guessed before even visiting the site that the price would make me gag. I love ridgid’s lights and i think they are very well made, but that harnesses is only like $15 cheaper then what i paid for the lights. Appreciate the heads up on it, but for that much I’d rather just piece together something for 1/4 of the price.

So after the posting by @Newbie 5 about the ridgid harness that got me searching around a bit which landed me with another popular retailer that is often mentioned in this forum which is Diode Dynamics. Based on the postings I’ve seen on here and other forums they seem to be held in high regards for the quality items then produce and they have a lot of pre made harness options that are affordable enough that they might be a solid option instead of ordering/piecing together all the parts myself. Particularly they have this harness and it got me wondering that if i tied the wire labeled F into the 7 pin on the truck if that would serve the same purpose to make them come on when reverse is engaged but also give the the option in the cab to kick them on with the included switch. $60 ain’t bad at all even if that isn’t the case, better then the harness from ridgid which was $120

They even have a cheaper harness option without those additional end pieces that are meant for back lighting for $50

That looks like a good solution. I belive that would work. You could message Diode Dynamic for advise . I forgot about D D. I'm eyeing their front fog lights.

Yep I’ve got a pair of SS3 pros on my wish list as well. Love the fit and the light they put out based on the pictures I’ve seen is insane.
