Default What am i missing?

I have a 2020 F150 5.0 screw with 3.73 gears and a 7000 GVWR. On the window sticker it does not list a tow package. I have the trailer brake controller and receiver installed from factory, i also have the smart connector when i plug in my camper. What am i missing from the tow package? Does my truck have the oil cooler and transmission cooler for towing?

If your truck is the 302a package???... it comes with the Tow Package.
• 4-pin/7-pin wiring harness
• Class IV hitch receiver
• Smart Trailer Tow Connector
• Auxiliary transmission oil cooler (only available with 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 Engine)
• Pro Trailer Backup Assist with Trailer Hook Up Light
• Upgraded Front stabilizer bar
• Engine Oil Cooler (not available with 3.3L V6 engine)

So you do by the sounds of it you have some of the tow package, just not the Max tow package.

This is from the 2020 build site...assuming your truck is a 4x4.
However this was NOT available on the 5.0 engine...needed the 3.5eco.
The Max Trailer Tow Package is available on F-150 XL, XLT, LARIAT, King Ranch™, and Platinum.
Includes:
• 3.55 Electronic-locking rear-axle (3.73 Electronic-locking rear-axle with Heavy-Duty Payload Pkg.)
• 4-pin/7-pin wiring harness
• Class IV hitch receiver
• Smart Trailer Tow Connector
• Pro Trailer Backup Assist with Trailer Hook Up Light (optional on XL Base)
• Integrated Trailer Brake Controller
• Upgraded Front stabilizer bar
• Upgraded Rear bumper
• Engine Oil Cooler

The standard class IV trailer hitch includes...
• 4-pin/7-pin wiring harness
• Class IV hitch receiver
• Smart Trailer Tow Connector

On the 300a, there would be no trailer hitch installed unless a tow package was selected.

The tow package for the 300a is as follows...

• 4-pin/7-pin wiring harness
• Class IV hitch receiver
• Smart Trailer Tow Connector
• Auxiliary transmission oil cooler (included with 3.3L V6 PFDI engine)
• Pro Trailer Backup Assist with Trailer Hook Up Light (optional on XL Base)
• Upgraded Front stabilizer bar
• Engine Oil Cooler (N/A with 3.3L V6 PFDI engine)

Then use this to determine what you can tow...

If you have the 53B Class IV Hitch Package you have a 7000 lb tow rating and should be missing...

1. Solid Front Sway Bar
2. Pro Trailer Backup Assist (Unless otherwise added)
3. Trailer Hookup LED.
4. *Upgraded Fans and Motors (This is debatable as I have not actually confirmed they are on the 53A 5.0 Trucks but have confirmed they are not on the 53B 5.0 Trucks. Ford references are not correct per content).

All 10-Speed Auto Trucks have the same liquid-to-liquid trans cooler from the Super Duty back by the trans.regardlesss of tow package. Only Raptors have an additional front mount cooler. As to oil cooler I know all Ecoboost have them. I'm not sure as to the 5.0 V8. You will have to look under the hood for it. Should be some pictures on the forum of it if you search.

Yes. I saw your window sticker. Please reference my edited previous post as to what your package is missing compared to the 53A HD Tow Package

Class IV Hitch Option Code: 53B
Ford Engineering Reference: Medium Duty Trailer Towing Package (Owner's Manual uses this name at times)

Engineering considers the F150 to have four trailer towing packages

Base integrated bumper = Light Duty Tow Package

Class IV Hitch = 53B Class IV Hitch - Medium Duty Trailer Towing Package

Trailer Towing Package = 53A Heavy Duty Trailer Towing Package

Max Trailer Towing = 53C Maximum Trailer Towing Package

Class IV Receiver is listed under optional equipment, not under the 302a line itemization. For me it appears to have been part of the GVWR package that came with the 3.5eco. Not all 302a's I looked at had a Class IV receiver, so it's not part of the trim package.
