Default Valve stem replacement

So I had 5 new tires put on my TT. It was a process, I took the tires in because the TT is a bit difficult to get out of yard with recent rain. Anyways, 2 tires on day one, 3 the next. All happy, date codes on all 5, 1223. Taking them off where it sits in the yard is difficult, dragging a car jack, sliding under on a board, and ... you get the displeasure.
Now the question:
The first day, 2 installed, balanced, new valve stems, everything perfect.
The second day, remainder 3 balanced, everything seemed perfect.
After install and finishing up, wow, they did not put new valve stems on. Called them, oh sorry, bring them back and we will correct it.. grrr.
The old valve stems show no signs of weathering. Would you still take them off, or would you feel comfortable rolling with 6 year old valve stems and new tires?
